Let me give you a quick intro to our family and some background on our ministry.

My husband Jeff and I are the proud parents of four kids, with four wonderful in-laws and seven beautiful grandkids. All of our kids are actively growing their families, and serving in various ministries or entrepreneurial endeavors. 

Jeff and I worked side-by-side for 32 years as the Founding and Senior Pastors of Valley Family Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 2022, we passed the baton to our youngest son, Eric and his wife Alexa and today they serve as the Lead Pastors of VFC.

The Basics With Beth is an outreach ministry of Valley Family Church and through books, podcasts and online courses my focus is simple -- our focus is to help people: get the basics, live the life and do the stuff.

I received my BA in Communication from Boston University in Boston, MA and received my ministry training at Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, OK.
